Course Overview

In this hands-on 12-hour program, students are introduced to the power of Generative AI and autonomous AI agents—without needing to write any code. Using n8n, an open-source no-code automation platform, learners will create intelligent workflows capable of performing tasks like drafting email replies, scheduling meetings, and enriching business leads. With a focus on practical projects, students will leave the course equipped to build real-world AI agents that automate everyday tasks and enhance productivity.

What is an AI Agent? Defining AI agents as autonomous systems that perceive their environment, make decisions, and take actions to achieve specific goals.
Core Components of an AI Agent: Exploring the key modules of an agent: Perception (data input), Reasoning (decision-making), Action (executing tasks), and Learning (memory and improvement).
Types of AI Agents: Differentiating between various agents, such as text-generative, image-generative, and decision-making agents.
Mastering Automation with n8n

Introduction to n8n: Overview of n8n as a flexible, open-source automation tool. Understanding its core concepts of nodes and visual workflows.
Building Workflows in n8n: A guided walkthrough of creating a basic workflow, such as fetching articles from a source like Hacker News and sending them to Discord.
Native AI Integrations: Exploring n8n's built-in AI capabilities and its integration with frameworks for building custom AI applications without code.
Mini-Project 2: AI-Powered Customer Inquiry Responder

Project Goal: Create an AI agent that analyzes incoming emails and drafts intelligent replies.
Hands-on with n8n: Trigger: Use a new email in a Gmail inbox as the trigger.
Hands-on with n8n: Reasoning: Use an AI node to analyze the email's content and intent.
Hands-on with n8n: Generate a relevant reply and save it as a draft in Gmail for human review before sending.
